LIZ GARTZ
Liz Gartz was born 1963 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Her name at birth is Elizabeth Maria Gartz.
She acquired her formal artistic training at the Öffentlichen Volkshochschule in Köln and at the School of Visual Arts of the Universidad Autónoma de N.L.
In addition, she is a graduate architect (School of Architecture, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey).
She had teaching positions at Arte A.C. and The School of Visual Arts of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
To this date she held more than 20 individual exhibitions at places and cities of Mexico (such as Monterrey, San Miguel Allende, Chihuahua and others), France (Strasbourg and Paris), Prague and Luxembourg
She has taken part in several collective exhibitions (in Mexico, the United States, Venezuela, Spain, France and Germany).
She currently lives and works in Valencia, Spain.
